Camera’s installed at Columbus-Lowndes Public Library

Through a gracious gift from the Friends of the Library the Columbus-Lowndes Public Library is having security cameras installed at all four branches. At the Columbus branch, there will be 3 new cameras on the back parking lot and 11 cameras in the building. Cameras will also be installed at the branch libraries of Artesia, Crawford, and Caledonia.

The cameras in the Columbus Library make it easy for staff to monitor all corners of the building on the inside as well as a good view of the back parking lot. The screens for viewing what the cameras are seeing will be mounted at the circulation desk and close to the back door.
