U.S. House of Representatives Oral History Web Site

The Clerk of the House is proud to announce the launch of the official US House of Representatives’ Oral History Web site: http://oralhistory.clerk.house.gov/

The Oral History Web site is a collaboration of the Offices of Publication Services and History and Preservation.

The site features interviews from a range of House staff and officers, as well as children of Members of Congress. In addition to interview transcripts in html and PDF formats, the site includes video and audio clips, brief interviewee biographies, artifacts, images, and educational resources for teachers.

In the coming months, the content will be growing as more interviews are processed and added to the site.
