History of organized Old Union Community Presbyterian Church, late 1930’s-1960, with members from previous church. Names of the known members listed in the history.

History of three cemeteries:

Old Chapel (Pettey, McDonald’s Chapel) 1850’s-2009. History of the cemetery and site map. Alphabetical & site listing of all known graves. Twelve pages of known history related to persons who are buried here. Pictures from the early 1920’s to 2008, including some markers and memorial pictures.

Brewer Methodist Church Cemetery, 1946-2009. Site map, alphabetical listing & site listing. History and pictures.

Stern- English (abandoned) 1841- to late 1800’s One marker with information of mother & child buried here in 1841. Some information on others said to be buried here. Pictures include the lone marker left and a Red Oak Tree said to be 238 years old, and listed as a champion of trees. Cemetery is in the middle of Lee County School property purchased in 2008-09, for a future school.

Military Section.

War 1812-2009. Alphabetical list, some history of persons in this section related to their military duty. 100 pages of pictures including some of battles in the South Pacific, planes, bombed out buildings in Germany. Picture of one person that was in the War 1812.

Brewer School history & pictures from late 1800’s 1953. Includes Sports Section with pictures 1920’s- present.

Memory Section. Pictures of how we lived, worked & played. Many old landmarks and a way of life gone forever.

Seventy six Families & descendants from 1830’s-2009. Over 600 pages of family pictures.
