“Birds of Northeast Mississippi” by Judy Howle

Outdoor enthusiasts will be treated to excellent photographic art featuring local birds, along with an introduction to some of the more interesting natural areas of Northeast Mississippi. Most of the photos were taken in Lowndes County and at the Noxubee Wildlife Refuge in neighboring Oktibbeha County, with a few taken while traveling. Part of the program will feature exclusively water birds.

Judy is a member of the Oktibbeha Audubon Society and has been an ardent bird photographer since she obtained her first digital camera eight years ago. She is currently teaching photography classes at the Rosenzweig Arts Center and has taught similar classes offered by the MUW Dept. of Continuing Education.

She also teaches photo editing classes and offers private tutoring. Her photographs have been exhibited at the MUW Fine Arts Gallery and at the Rosenzweig Arts Center.

Many of her bird and other nature photos can be viewed at her websites: – _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Sunday at the Bluff programs are sponsored by the Mississippi University for Women Plymouth Bluff Center and are open to the public at no charge.
