This Wednesday: “Columbus during the Civil War”

Local historian Gary Lancaster will speak about “Columbus during the Civil War” this Wednesday the 23rd at 2pm at the Columbus-Lowndes Public Library. 

The event is associated with the national traveling exhibit currently open at the library called “Abraham Lincoln: A Man of His Time, A Man for All Times”.  The exhibit explores how Abraham Lincoln transcended his age and left a constitutional legacy for all Americans. 

The exhibit will be open until April 4th. 

Lancaster’s presentation will be held in the second floor Meeting Room.  It is free and open to the public.
