Kerr-McGee Records donated to Billups-Garth Archives

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Atlanta Federal Center has donated the Kerr-McGee Chemical Corporation Removal Site Administrative Records to the Billups-Garth Archives.

Contained within one three-ring binder, the records document the decision to initiate emergency response actions for the Kerr McGee Chemical Site located in Columbus.  It includes a description of the site, pollution reports, and more.

The EPA has been collecting samples and testing areas of the former site of the Kerr-McGee Chemical Plant on Waterworks Road.
