A&H Restaurant Menu donated to Archives

A menu from the A&H Restaurant was recently donated to the Billups-Garth Archives at the Columbus-Lowndes Public Library. It dates to the 1960s and the cover is designed with green and white stripes.

The A&H Restaurant was located on Highway 82 East and was owned by Joe S. and Martine Atkins.

The menu boasts the “Specialty of the House” was calf liver!  Prices include a bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich for .45 cents as well as beer for .35 cents.
